Whats up with my 06?
I have an 06 as well with the six speed and have only seen about 13 at best so far, i really haven't had a chance to get it out on the highway yet though. That is a mix of city/rural highway driving, sure hope it gets better, but i am optimistic as i only have 717 on the odometer right now. Time will tell i guess.
I put the Rokktech sensor on today and it gave me almost a 4MPG increase @ 65MPH and 1 MPG @ 70 MPH. Heck if I could drive 55 it would get over 21MPG. I'm waiting on US Gear to come out with the overdrive for the G56, WooHoooo should get 20 MPG runnin' 70MPH.
Talked to the dealer today and they received my new MAP sensor today. Hope to get it installed tomorrow. If I get a chance to put a few miles on it this weekend, I will report back to this forum next Monday whether or not the MAP sensor is helping mileage. Thanks for all of the helpful comments.

I just installed the Rokktech sensor today. Before the install I took a drive of 20 miles and checked milage on the over head 15.1. Installed the sensor and went for the same 20 mile drive at the same speed and reset the overhead 15.3. It is a lot quieter at idle and doesn't seem to have as much lower end grunt. During aceleration there is a lot of clatter that wasn't there before. Is the timing advanced to much now?? I will split the diff. and try it again tomorrow. Hope things get better, If not I will have a sensor for sale
I think that all the 06's are diff. I installed thr rokktech on my 06 at full advance. didn't help the milage and was noisier at 60 mph. Backed it off half way and the noise at 60 mph went away, indicating to far advance, in the advance all the way. I was not impressed with the rokktech on my 06. From what I gather it dosn't work as good on the 06's as some of the other years.
Those of you that are getting crappy mileage need to check the air pressure in your tires. My advice is to put the fronts at 80, or as high as you can stand if it rides too rough at 80. Put the rears at about 65 or 70 on a single rear wheel, and at about 55 or 60 on a dually. In particular, your front tires being low will make a HUGE difference in mileage.
Are you filling your tanks full or just until the pump clicks off and then rounding up maybe to the next nearest whole dollar amount? You can squeeze in a few more gallons ($5+ worth) after it clicks the first time. I fill mine all the way into the filler neck everytime so I have a consistent mark to go by everytime. I just filled up today and my last tank average was 15.9 MPG. I only have a little over 3400 miles on the truck now so I expect it to go up a tad bit more. It also should go up more when we get off the winter blend of fuel. My best tank so far was on a trip up north, mostly highway and it averaged 18.42 MPG. I run 65 PSI in all 4 tires as well.

ON EDIT: My overhead has consistently been 2 MPG LOW compared to hand calculated.
