What's this sound I'm hearing?

As some of you might remember...I went out to Ocotillo Wells four-wheelin in the sand a few weeks ago and with the 265 BFGs and heavy weight of the truck, I ended up ALMOST getting stuck...HAD to deal with some pretty serious axle wrap/wheel hop and high temperatures until she finally crawled herself out. I have noticed that the past couple times that I have driven the truck, that when it's been sitting for a few days after I drive off from the parking spot and get going(been out to sea a bunch lately) I can hear a faint little humming sound coming from the mid portion of the truck...seemingly the tranny...what do ya'll think?

I got stuck in some light slick snow while hunting in Colorado one year. I had extreme wheel hop/and axle wrap getting out and up a steep incline.
I had a hum that I couldn't hear on the way back home with a loaded truck. My son could hear the hum but I couldn't.
A week or so later I put on new tires with a more aggressive tread pattern and the hum was gone according to my son.
I'd say it's a good chance it may be a tire from my past experience.
A strange sound from a moving vehicle can be tremendously hard to find.

You're telling me! I'd like to consider myself pretty observant when it comes to my vehicles and their behavior...maybe that noise has been there all along, but now that I put my truck through something that I shouldn't have, I am paranoid and just THINK it's a new sound...I'll keep monitoring it...
