Lousy Hearing

I installed the K&N intake system on my 2006 Dodge 2500 turbo diesel and every one that hears the truck coming down the street or rides with me tells me that they hear a whistle. I have lousy hearing and can not hear it. I have double and triple checked all the clamps to ensure there are no air leaks. I am about ready to put the original stuff back on.

Has anyone had the same problem or have any suggestions.

Thanks

it should whistle, you freed up more air. Are you sure its not the turbo you hear?

depending on age and your environment. You could just be deaf to high frequency sounds. My dad cannot hear turbo whine. Even at truck pulls where guys are running stacks through the hood w/ twins he can't hear it. I'm sure it sounds good to everyone else.

I guess that is my problem. I do not hear the whistle. I am sure it is the turbo that everyone hears.

Thanks
