I just had to put a passenger side battery in. thats the first actual problem that messed with the operation of the truck. Also, the tailgate dents easily when backed into mailboxes, firetrucks, trees, and RVs. (all while my wife was driving)

1st casualty was a water pump at 109K miles - 50 miles from Yuma towing my 5th wheel. Had Rig and Truck towed to Yuma and arrived at 11PM. Cold beer never tasted so good! Fixed pump the next day gotta love PEP Boys!

Just developed DW. Going in tomorrow for '08.5 steering upgrade, dual steering stabilizers and alignment. This is w/285 Toyos, not the infamous BFG 315 connection. This is dangerous stuff. Luckily I was in the right lane. Sucks. First thing wrong in 18,000 miles.

Vibration a 75 mph noticed a few days after I got it, eliminated by dealer by replacing rear driveshaft. Original batteries replaced April '09 after five brutal Phoenix summers, fuel pump replaced June '09. Other than that, no problems for 90000 miles, just normal maintenance.

Fuel pump at 65,000 covered under warrantee. Today left front bearing/bushing at 130,000 ($500). No other issues, just routine oil and filters.

Just about to turn 50k on my 04.5 bought in August of 04. Only problem has been the driver rear door wiring harness needed to be fixed. PW and PL became inoperative found that the wire harness as it leaves the body heading into the door frayed the wires. That's it........... except I found the stock power to be insufficient so I had to fix that too.

Love the cummins, hate the rest of the dodge. The cab roof is white (CC failure), lift pump IP went out around 60k miles, Ball joints went bad, radiator hose problem, tailgate scratches o so easily as someone else mentioned, and front of the bed bends to easily from a ATV hauling, Dash seems to be coming apart, got the underneath dash flakes flowing from the air vents, drivers door open support is in need of replacement.
I will never buy another dodge, next time I will buy a Cummins and put it in something other then Dodge.

Just hit 84 k miles

80k miles here now, need front axle shaft U-joints and a clutch. Maybe more. Truck is starting to beat me down with stuff Hopefully this is it for a while, although I bought it at 55k miles 2 years ago and this is really the first of repairs.
