What's the difference

I just noticed, while driving 200 miles in a snow storm, that the auto trans lever has a three position button: normal, and push once for Haul/tow, and push again for O/D off. So, what is the diffence ( I coudn't feel a diff) between O/D Off and Haul/Tow? (I understand what happens with O/D Off, since my old truck had this)
Thanks guys.

Tow/Haul just changes the shift points.... well DC says it does... Be happy your 06 has the OD/OFF feature as well, I hate my tow/haul button, makes me miss my od/off in my 03.

i want a 6-speed
