I'm making bio. Can't use much of it (20%) until it gets a little warmer though.

I'm keeping the speed around 55/60 and no more. This nets 2 or 3 more mpg. Also, keeping trips around town to a "have to basis" or just waiting until I can make one trip do it all.

I find I use the company truck to run errands after work and such, so I don't have to use my personal 'real' truck. It is a pain as I prefer it than driving the Ferd.

Leave it sit !!

Its 10.00 in fuel to get get the **** thing out. Mostly I let it sit now and dive my Acura. When I bought his truck Diesel was 1.43 and 1.00 cheaper than gas... An I thought it was a no brainer to buy it... better mileage and cheaper fuel.... Whew what a diff 4 years makes.....

I got on the company vanpool - cost, $118/month and my truck only gets used for weekend errands and camping now. My truck insurance also dropped to the 5k miles/year rate. When I was driving my truck to work I was spending $185/month for fuel and it was $2.80/gal. then. Craig

I am driving 80 miles a day to work. Fuel costs hurts, but getting killed in a foreign tin can hurts worse...

I feel this way after being rear ended at a stop light by a loaded cement truck doing 60 mph...

Funny how things like that change your perspective...
