The majority of the trucks with the vibe problem are 4x4 SWB automatics.

Mine has it. Dealer has attempted to fix it one time by shimming the carrier bearing. Tomorrow, they get the second attempt. Sig truck with 2WD LWB.

Rocky:
Save your prayers for the really important stuff. Just make sure you drive it down the freeway long enough and fast enough on your test drive. Don't let the new car smell overcome you, if it's got the vibe, don't take it!

And don't let anyone at the dealership tell you it's an easy fix, from what I've read, there's as many reasons (and cures) for the vibe as there is trucks that have it.

If the truck's got it, let it remain the Dealer's problem, don't make it yours!
