According to to Dodge website, you're truck is rated to pull a maximum of 13,300 lbs. At 20,000 lbs. you are approx. 50% overweight.
I imagine you already knew this, but is this the reason you are not able to get more than 40 mph out of her?? ???

I tow a 16000# fiver very high (12'6"
at 70 in 6th with no prob. Very seldom have to bring her down to 5th unless it is a pretty stiff incline.

Hey guys...I have a question that maybe y'all can help me with. I have a customer that would like to know what a 2003 3500 HO 6 shooter would tach out at with 4.56 gears. If there is anyone out there that can help me with this question, I would greatly appreciate it. If y'all have any Chrysler/Dealer type questions, I will do my best to answer them. Thanks!

Jason
