I like Delo for the following reason...
When the GMC in my sig had about 30,000 miles, it got an oil leak in the line that took the oil to the oil radiator. (I was doing all the oil changes on it and using Delo up to this point) The leak looked pretty slow but I decided to take it to the local GMC agency and get it fixed. I got the truck back and later that day when I was doing some city driving, I looked at the oil pressure gauge and it said ZERO!
I pulled into the closest parking lot and turned off the engine.
Looking under the truck, it was easy to see that all the oil had come out suddenly and it was now a coating for all the parts in the front end. The next day I used a different vehicle and retraced my route. I found a big dark spot on the street and found it was about a mile from that point to where I turned the truck off.
So, the point of all this is at 70,000 miles, the same truck (and same engine) are doing great with no knocking and no felt loss of power. I think the Delo had something to do with the preservation of my engine!

bobistheoilguy has a forum for the real oil geeks. Delo seems to be acknowledged as perhaps having the best base stock and delvac 1300 as the best additive package, but the new Delo seems to be pretty good too. Delvac 1 / Mobil 1 T&S seem to be no brainers for synthetic, Amsoil getting good marks too. I like a blend of Delvac 1300 and Mobil 1 T&S.
