As I have learned the hard way, its all about backspacing on the rims, a few guys around here are running 35 12.5 on stock rims and a little rubbing on top control arm with wheel cranked, that is with no leveling kit at all. I however put in Lorenz coils -2" lift - my rims however are 4.5 backspacing, they rub terribly on back of fender wells. I would not recommend that setup at all.......

I'm running BFG MT's 35 12X50 17's, and I only have a little rub. If I had a little more back spacing, I think I'd be good.

Where is N Haven?

Just put the 35" tires on your stock wheels. You may get some control arm rub at full lock. But it is that simple.

If you were closer, I'd let you try mine. Swing by a tire shop, as the guy if he'll let you take 2 (the front ones) around the parking lot to see if they fit...

Couldn't you do stock rims and like .25 inch wheel spacers to get better backspacing?

We have similar trucks, and I clear BFG AT KO LT315s (on stock rims) with a
2" leveling kit.

The sidewalls on the inner side of the tires barely (and I mean barely) touch/rub the control arms. The rub is very, very minor.

I ran 35 x 12.5 procomps with a 2 inch revtek leveling kit with no rubbing at all with the stock rims, i'd say go for it even if you do rub, it will be very minimal. I only rarely rubbed at full lock over big bumps it would hit my mud flaps.
