What brand ATF+4 & how much???

I am about to change my ATF in my 05 CTD automatic and my owners manual does not say how much the capacity is. Also they only recomend Mopar ATF+4 fluid. Can I use another brand available locally without a trip to a Mopar dealership?
Thanks Mike

I use valvoline ATF+4... I usually buy about 8 quarts for a pan drain / refill. I installed a drain plug on my first change to make my life easier.

ditto valvoline here to, autozone has it for $6.29 i think. change your power steering pump, and transfer case to, both take atf+4.

I've also seen +4 in castrol and coastal brands, walmart has it in the blue generic container.

MikeMotorhead,

You can use any of the licensed ATF+4 fluids illustrated on the following attachment.

I use valvoline ATF+4. I used 6 quarts last time and it is right on full after a 20 mile drive, checked in neutral.

This. I know around here that I save a buck and a half per quart by going with the NAPA brand.
