What is anti spin

anti spin, is this the same as limited slip or what. and what types fo options of rear ends ( for trucks ) is offerd. Pos trac, limited slip. Please Help Me understand. I have a 2005, 4x4 3500, DRW, 6 speed NV5600 with anti spin 3.73

Anti Spin

Anti spin is AAM's name for "Limited Slip" "Posi" etc. Each company pretty much trademarked there own name. So it is just that. it's not a locker, or a air locker or anything like that. Just a fancy name, kinda like Torque managment system (they could have said no power off the line till it builds boost) but people wouldn't have liked that. Hope this helped

anti spin is chryslers name for a limited slip... the AAM name for the limited slip is the tracrite. i have a screen grab in my members photo gallery from the service manual showing the tracrite.
