Well the bomb finally happened!!!!!
Lawyer time...sorry, but when your dealing with a holes, you must do this. THEY ONLY UNDERSTAND DOLLARS AND CENTS(see why below)
Incidentally, my bro-in-law is a mechanic for toyota, chevy and cert. on both gas and diesel. MANY times they get customers who bring in their totally
neglected cars for warranty claims, when it's clearly their fault(not your case)
and the dealer would be totally justified in refusing the claim. WHEN the
customer threatens to bring in an attorney, they fix it. IT IS CHEAPER for
Dodge to fix the problem than to hire the attorneys necessary for a legal case, but YOU WILL NEED TO take it to this level first.
Most attorney's will only charge you a $100 or so to write a simple letter to the dealer/representative. Make sure you send it certified signature req'd
and be very firm on what you expect them to do.

seems like knowone (dealer) is going to help you unless you help yourself....alot of good advice given in this currently 5 page thread, but you are still letting the dealer control this situation.
you need help and that is just something your got to come to terms with IF you want your truck fix. you could probably already had the truck back if you get a lawyer involved

I'm getting the run around from my dealer as well. My auto tranny is "gear busy" as they put it and the problem is incorrect transmission fluid. I haven't even touched the fluid since I bought it. Getting a lawyer sounds like a good idea.
Just got back . I had to go get my truck or they was going to charge me for it being there. My warrenty is now voided. My truck was pushed out of the shop with the battery dead and no tranny fluid. My lawyer has told me to get what ever paper work and send it to her and the will try and get enough proof for a lawsuit. I am sick to my stomach from all this. I did nothing wrong and they wouldnt fix my truck and now I have a burned piece of crap.
I am sorry to hear about all your transmission troubles. I hope your lawyer can do some good for you.
In the mean time, I think I would find a good DTT Builder (or other aftermarket transmission installer of your choice) and have him go thru your transmission and upgrade your Tq converter and Valve body. It will cost you some money (im guessing $2500 or so or maybe more). But at least you would have your truck back running so you can use it for work and you shouldn't have any more transmission problems from then on.
I try to avoid the dealerships like the plague anyway.

Yeah, they were probably trying to charge you storage fees as they wern't going to fix it under warranty and you wern't going to pay for it. Next stepo is to get your lawyer to get to work ASAP. Quit waiting, push the envelope. Find another dealer and have them check to see if warranty is void first. Try to get a sample of tranny fluid from converter or somewhere from your truck, maybe cooler on radiator and GET IT TESTED, and ask dealer you were working with to prove where his oil sample shows wrond fluid. If you bought it new and never changed it it should be what Chrysler put in it. How many miles oin it, could they gig your for not changing it at the proper intervals???? I fought the fuel problems on my 04.5 and finally gave up and traded it in at 69000 miles and it cost me .14 per mile but finally gave up as I couldn't afford to wait for lawyer or DC to decide what they were doing.....not sorry as the 07 is like night & day from the 04.5
Just quit waiting and "GET-R-DUN"
