Water pump leaking?

Water pump leaking?
i just took my truck to mechanic and he noticed some residue stuff on the front of my engine behind the radiator. could this be the water pump seeping some water? any one else notice this on there trucks? im finding more and more problems with this dern truck!

I think there is a weep hole on the water pump. Look in there, and if it is dry, the stuff behind the radiator must have come from somewhere else.
Next step would likely be a pressure test of the cooling system.
