Is this for real? My truck has only 40,000 on the clock. Is the water pump considered part of the 5 yr 100,000 mile warranty?

I have been reading about previous posts concerning a $100 deductible. Does this apply to me. Bought the truck new in Aug. 2007.

If anyone has any info it is greatly appreciated.

 

Yes it is for real, mine went at 50k. Just did it myself due to time, and distance from dealer. Bought from napa for $40. Took me less than 1 hour, start to finish.

Don't know about the waranty deal. Try calling the service department.

 

Take off the belt remove to bolts pull old one out put new one in quickly open beer. I don't even drain coolant. If you pop her out quick enough you just top up a bit. Those other diesel's take 8 hrs or something and a few hundred $ to do the the R and R.

It is under warranty and there is not 100.00 deductible. they will sure try to take it though. they wanted mine until I showed them the warranty book.

 

It is. You will not have the 100 deductable. Look in your warranty book.
