Unhappy washed truck now runs like crapola

Like the title says I was at the fire station last night and power washed my truck which I normally don't do, and when I went to start it this morning it has run nothing but crappy. Its throwing the P0192 code. My friends that have more knowledge in diesel's said it was my CP3 and they say my lift pump is working correctly, I also have a new fuel filter in it as well. I am hoping that its not this. The truck ran great with no problems untill my attempt to clean it. BTW my truck has 50k on it and its an 06 auto. Any advice would be great and deeply appreciated.

Thanks.
Nick

Did you powerwash the engine compartment?

Check the rail pressure sensor connectors that the Quad box is plugged into. Could be water in it from pressure washing. Add dielectric grease to the connectors.

I did power wash it and the hood was not fully closed, so it got in the eninge compartment pretty good.

Have you unplugged the Quad to see if it would still run crappy? Clear the codes?

I cringe every time I mist my engine down, my buddy lost his whole car in an electrical fire after having his engine clean, thankfully the detail shop paid for it.

I spray the engine down, with simple green, after every oil change then power wash the soap away. Never a single issue, knock on wood.

Too many things in the engine compartment that don't react well with high pressure water. Did it run crappy immediately after you washed it, or after you let it sit overnight and dry out? If you haven't already you need to let it dry out completely and see if it gets better. My guess would also be water affecting a connection....

Air filter did not get wet, and I washed it at midnight and left the station to go home at 6am and it started immediately acting crappy.

P0193-FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO HIGH
P0192-FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW
Could be water in the sensor connector on the rail. The fuel pressure sensor is mounted vertically near the top/center of the fuel rail. #1 in picture.

Well I got sick of screwing with it in the driveway, and had it towed away to the shop. Hopefully the extended warranty I bought covers it. Thanks for all your help in this matter.

Guaranteed that the rail pressure sensor connector from the quad has missing insulators and/or two wires going through one grommet which can cause water to get into sensor connector, once there is can seep into the sensor and destroy it. Happened to my friends truck...he was able to get a new sensor from Cummins for under $100...
