it would be a good rumor but I doubt that DC will reprogram the ecm for them along with added sensors required for it to work

Someone on the Ford site mentioned an IH article (I think) that mentions Cummins developing a smaller diesel for a the Dodge 1500. That would be great and give a lot of people what they want. The timing would be great if they can get it to market soon with fuel prices the way they are.
That's just the thing, "maybe" 05, or "maybe" 07, or "maybe" NEVER, or "maybe" in '06.5... we'll just all have to wait and find out!
It's hard to get a clear view what's happening with my view of things. When does your product become production? What changes does it bring? Also is it a functional change or just a cost reduction thing.
