The Premium Blue is dino.
The Premium Blue Extreme is synthetic. No one sells it anywhere. Its like trying to find Delvac1 - impossible, so to me it is moot what group it is or how great it pours in the cold weather or how long it will make your engine last or how great everyone and the manufacturer says it is, YOU CANT BUY IT CAUSE YOU CANT FIND IT!

You can order it. That's how a lot of things wind up on the shelves at the store. If people order it then there's a demand for it. I just ordered an air filter for my truck from Discount Auto Parts. It only took a day to get it.

I'd run the reasonable priced Dodge and Cummins approved stuff.
The suggest a classification of oil, NOT a brand of oil right? I looked in my owners manual and they don't mention any particular brand. I don't think you've got much to gain/loose by sticking with any of the big name oils. That's not to say I'm a fan of snakeoil.
Where to get Premium Blue Extreme? The same place I mail order my filters from. Shiend (sp?) Diesel. They sell both the filters I need and the oil, it's all online ordering, and they ship promptly. Since I can't get the filters at the store, I see it as a no-brainer.

Wallyworld has Mobil 1 Truck & SUV 5W-40, which based upon analysis that people have done seems to pretty much be Delvac 1. I run a blend of 3 qts Mobil 1 T&S with Delvac 1300, and will go to 4 qts in the winter.

FWIW, all the local Walmarts in my neck of the woods didn't have the truck/SUV yet. And PepBoys carries the standard PB, but not the extreme.
Even my local Cummins shop would need to order the fleetguard filter. So I just order it all mail order.

I am running the Premium Blue Extreme and was able to buy it from my local Cummins dealer ($21/gal).
I was going to go with the Delvac 1 (Mobile Truck/SUV) from Wally World, but when I went to buy enough, there weren't any left on the shelf where they had previously been. The shelf label for it was also no longer there. I asked the auto dept person if they were getting any more. He stated they were not since they didn't sell enough of it.
So far I have been happy with the Vavoline. I'll let you all know what I really think if it after 350,000 miles
