valve lash adjustment
valve lash adjustment
I am currently installing new injectors (stock) would it be all right to just put the exhaust rocker back on and torque to spec with out adjusting valve lash? I dont have a feeler gauge. or should I run and get one and adjust all the valves?

You can torque the rocker arm down but with 173k I would go ahead and adjust all the valves while you have it down that far.

Cummins makes, or did make, a nice little kit for doing the valves. A number of us got them a while back. It includes a jacking tool to turn the engine, feeler gauges, wrenches, a ratchet, some sockets and an oil filter wrench.
