I would get a mileage cam from Hamilton cams and just enjoy the additional power and MPG’s.

Look into the Colt Stage 1. Its a great mild upgrade to the restrictive stock 3rd gen cam. It is a "performance" cam but its very mild and has plenty of benefits over the stock cam.

Otherwise look for people selling a stock cam, thou personally I wouldn't spend a penny on an OEM 3rd gen cam.. they are just not worth it.

Don't get a regrind. Get one from Hamilton on a new blank. Colt makes a knock off regrind on Hamilton specs.

I beleive those specs are backwards.. Colt developed the grind. Geoff does regrinds and Hamilton does new blanks.

Geoff and I came up with the grinds many moons ago. He does do regrinds and new cams. We only do new cams and have different lobe shapes than his. New cams have a lower failure rate...........however if I was getting a regrind, there is only on place I would buy it from, Colt Cams. He takes no shortcuts and is a stand up guy.

Thanks Zach!

I wasn't trying to imply you were knocking his cams off! I know you guys worked very close and did until recently.

Well, I got it wrong also. The reason I like the Hamilton cams better than anything else I have seen is due to the new lobe shapes.
