Turbo question ?

I just drove my friends truck, which is the exact truck as mine, and as I pulled off I could hear his turbo alot more than I can hear mine. I have a very faint whistle when pulling off, but his was much louder. I know for a fact that his truck is bone stock, as is mine. I really did not feel any difference in power. Is something wrong with my truck or do they all just sound different?

Maybe something is wrong with his truck!!!

Are you sure he doesn't have a K&N filter or something like that?

Silencer ring doesn't make that much of a difference with a stock air box. I took my silencer ring off, and with my stock air box, it actually sounded like it got quieter. I guess I just need to get some sort of an aftermarket intake to really hear it.
