Turbo help

I am giong to be pulling so I can garentee the drill / Tap shavings will not fall in to the turbo and wonderd if any one had any tips befor I started

When I did mine, I didn't even pull the turbo. I put some grease on the drill bit, and drilled slowly, stopping to remove the shavings every so often. Just before I broke through the inside of the manifold, I started the truck, which blew the rest of the shavings back out through the hole, and I left it running while I tapped the hole. All of the shavings came out through the top of the hole, instead of dropping into the manifold.
