Coming back from camoping my truck died five times the last time backing my trailer in.
The truck runs fine but will just shut off then will start and die a few times then it will run.
Is this my lift pump?

 

this is a random thought, could be way off. but my bro in law had a 99 dodge ram 1500, his ABS computer freaked out, and somehow that was tied into his RPM controller (cant remember the name for this). everytime it dropped to 1000rpms it would keep dropping till it got to 0 and then obviously the truck died. sound anything like what yours is doing? or is yours just randomly shutting off.
