ive got an 06 and usally once or twice a day it takes a long time to start. i had error codes come up a week ago and they said the fuel metering something or other was malfunctioning, and there was a fuel delivery error code. ive talked to some and theyve told me the lift pump may be the cause. any other suggestions?

one was 148 cant remember the other one right off hand. but the more i read on this site injectors could be causing the problem. what do you think?

 

I was going to say injectors but not positive. How does the truck run overall? Good power, no hesitation etc..?

 

seems to run perfect, the truck was well taken care of. i change the fuel filter when i bought it, changed the oil, gen maintainence, and would hard start once every two weeks. here we are 2 months down the road and it does it twice a day, but it seems its running strong at least for a stock truck
