Exclamation Transmission Problem

My Truck has been acting up for the past thousand miles or so. When I come to a complete stop It feels like the truck drops in and out of gear. Then when I go to accelerate it feels like the rear brakes are stuck on. After applying a lot of acceleration it will brake free and launch. This does not happen every time but seems to be getting worse. I know its not the brakes because when I put it in reverse its fine or if I lock it into 1st or 2nd its fine as soon as I put it into drive its like the brakes are reapplied. I checked the fluid and I'm actually a little over the full line. It was changed almost 30 thousand miles ago so I think this would have started more than a thousand miles ago. I have only had the bands adjusted once but not sure if that is the problem either. I have never replace that solenoid that cause a shift hunt, not sure if that helps anyone to diagnose. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Does it do this both hot and cold? IE: after leaving it sit over night does it still act up or does it take a few miles worth of driving?

...my rig did this and it was the rear brakes not releasing all the way (hanging up on the pins). Cold truck it ran fine; after 5-10 miles with the slight draging the rear brakes started to expand and drag harder; after a while the ABS would act up and apply the front brakes above 20mph or so (was weird).

Check your wheels after driving a bit; if the hub is too hot to touch (they get 'extremely' hot if a brake is dragging), definitely something to check into.
