Nothing too serious, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, and if it's something worth having the dealer look at...

Anyway, the problem is with the dashboard display that shows which gear I'm in - in particular, the little box/circle that indicates which gear I'm in. A lot of times, when I shift to a gear, that little box doesn't appear at all. Sometimes it'll come on if I jiggle the steering wheel a little, but other times I have to shift to another gear, and then back, for the box light up.

Regardless of whether the box is lit up, the transmission itself seems to work fine. Just a little annoying that the box doesn't always light up.

Any input? Am I just being too ****?

I would it's a 05 model? There should be no problems. Tell them its new to fix it fast.

 

I agree with pcburnout, have them fix it. You aren't being ****. The thing should work, period.

 

Get it fixed before you or someone else accidentally puts it in 2 and drives down the highway at 70
