transmission ?

i own a 2003 2500 diesel with a manufacture date of 11/02. can someone tell me if it has a 47re or a 48re transmission in it or how to identify the tranmission. thanks

There's a sticker in your glove box that will tell you which tranny you have ... my guess is that you have a 47RE (same as my '03 2500)
