between transfer case and front shaft i have a leak coming from where they connect, they seal is blown out i assume. leak is not to bad but needs attention.
question is - because i have not used 4x4 for 8 mths or so did i ruin this seal? if i shift and drive in 4x4 will it reseal or make it worse? any ideas? cannot get in shop for a few days and need to use truck as daily driver.
guess i'll just keep checking it until fixed. what are you guys using in transfer case. just atf? thanks
