trans question

I have a 04 2500 i bought used with 75000 miles. At 95000 miles the trans went out. Dodge replaced it with a rebuilt and said they tested the cooler at 16 psi. Now at 147000 the trans is out again and this time they say the coolers need to be replaced cause they are stopped up. The service writer told me that the cooler could not be flushed and that they needed replaced. He said that when the tranns started going out that parts of the clutch is what clogged the coolers. So now they want me to pay for the trans coolers. I am of the opinion that the faulty trans they installed caused the coolers to block then they should pay cover them under the warranty. I have been waiting for a week now for their decision rather to cover them or not. They told me today they were going to try to flush them and then test pressure before they made a decision. What should the pressure be? Why is a stock truck going thru trannys? opinions? I do pull a 2000 pound trailer daily.

I'm on my 4th tranny now from dodge and only got 135k miles on the truck, I do pull 40' g/n (7k unloaded) but pulling a trailer daily isn't whats throwing these tranny's, it's the lack of quality they put into there re-mans. And as for them not wanting to cover your tranny under "its" warranty is bull, I would fight them tooth and nail on that remember you have the upper hand on them. Hope it works out for you.

There's only one way for the coolers to get blocked - FOD from a failing transmission. IMO, it should be covered under he trans warrenty; but you'll need to read the fine print.

they called me today and asked me if i have had a chip or a programmer on the truck. I answered no, its a work truck and that i have not done anything to the engine and that I bought the truck used. Then they asked me about the 5th wheel in the bed. It was their when I bought the truck and I dont even have all the peices. The service manager said that dodge was not wanting to warranty the tranny now cause it looks like it has had a chip or programmer on it. He said that they could tell by the way that the clusters and idle time and run time were zeroed out. Im getting really frustrated that a tranny with less that 50k on it is all ready blown and they are jacking me around.
Any comments? Anyone know anyone with dodge that can help me out?

They're conclusion sounds a little shady, all that can be zero'd out a number of ways not just from a chip or programmer. If I were you I would start throwing the "lawyer" word around at them.
