Trans just went dead... like in neutral...?

Did you try putting the truck in 4low and then try moving?

Update... Torque converter went bad sending clutch material thru trans blocking filter. Goerend made good on their lifetime warranty and sent out a new converter. Should have truck back tomorrow. Still cost a pretty penny...

I'm assuming the pretty penny refers to the tranny shop labor? I thought Goerend picked up the parts and a fixed rate labor cost under their warranty??????? How many hours do they get these days to R&R the tranny?

Goerend gave me a new torque converter. All I paid for was shipping both ways ($90). Realize I only have his converter and some parts in my trans but a local shop built my trans with those parts in 2006. I don't know about his warranty for HIS transmissions.
The new shop that did my trans replaced a couple of solenoids, all the clutches with Raybestos Blues and some clips and such... total was $2000.
Don't know why the converter went out on me... really I wasn't that hard on her for most of her life.

truck shifts better than ever... don't know what the new shop did as opposed to my original one but, so far, it's like butter... K&M trans in St. John, Indiana... gotta give em' credit... so far... incredible.
