tranny temp?
Interesting....how are you guys tapping the hot (from trans) cooler line? I'm starting to think my Mag-tech pan sending unit position might not be as accurate as I thought! My trans is stock and normal driving I see 100 - 110 deg. A shade more with the 5er. Gauge starts at 100.... Thanks
Best place to pull it from is at the entrance to the Air/Fluid cooler up front. Thats the hottest place. One in the pan will give you the other end of it.
The fluid leaves the tranny through a preheater on the side of the block that is cooled or warmed by the engine cooling fluid. From there it goes to the
cooler up front which has a in line thermostat that opens at a preset temp.
It circulates thru the cooler and back to the pan. I don't know if there is a bye pass at the Fluid to Fluid heater/cooler on the side of the block that sends it back to the tranny in a effort heat the fluid up quickly untill the thermostat opens up front.
