I agree with what jrussell said above. Also I asked my local Dodge dealer and they would like to see every one use the line method as it's a direct replacement trans line and that it would not cause any warranty problems if I used one on my truck.

 

I have the clamp on accu temp fitting from Geno's, and I see numbers consistent with everyone that has the replacement line. I can watch in climb and fall very quickly. Aluminum is an excellent conductor, and seems to work fine for me. Some day I might put in the replacement line, but not until my warranty is up.

I think you and I have both answered questions about the AccuTemp before. Mine is made of brass but works the same as yours. I'm very satisfied with the accuracy and performance and will say so as many times as asked.
