Anyone with an 06 or 07 automatic 2wd want to switch to manual?

I'm looking to go the other direction and figured if anyone out there wanted to, we could swap tranny setups, that way no hunting for parts, etc...

Why do I want to change? Well, I tow RV campers for a living, and I'm tired of shifting. Period, I'm too old to think manuals are "cool" anymore and frankly too lazy. Also rush hour traffic sucks with a manual.

The only reason I got this truck with the manual is that I got a great deal on it.

You are way better off with the manual trans doing what you do. The 48re is not a good towing tranny without putting a lot of money into.

 

Thanks for your concern, but I plan on having Coaltrain build up right before it goes back in. Who ever does the swap with me will definately have their truck back way before I do.

 

i know my brother would be all over it but he has a mega cam 4x4 with a auto
