Torque Converter lockup

I have read forever that 04 is o/d lockout only but when my tow/haul button is on, it is much quicker, hardly any slip. I have a TC lockup switch on mine and although it does shift hard, it is not much different than it is when the tow/haul button is on. the tow/haul button definately does more than just lockout o/d on my 04.
