Tires: Post Your Mileage/Wear
Have 28,000 on BFG T/A KO's, rotated every 4,500 miles like the man said. Last rotation he said 4/32, so I will be sinking a grand before long into anything but BFG. With a 50,000 mile warranty, they should cover some of it. Tow a 20' trailer about 4 times a year, the rest city/highway. Michelin LTX A/T2 looks mighty fine, excepting the price!
I have the LTX' on my rig now... they are HORRIBLE in snow/ice rubber is too hard.

What air pressures did you run?
I think a lot of these distances reported are crazy on Michelin's, I drive like an old lady, and my Michelins are getting to a concerning wear state
at 37K miles, so 80k-100k and I still have 10k left is hard to believe. We are talking about one set right?

Original Michelins at 62,000 miles...they're done, but I'm very happy to have gotten this much from them. I keep the pressures pretty stong but haven't rotated much; they looked happy where they are and wearing evenly.

Stock tires at 69,000. Moved the fronts to the rear at around 49,000. Still look safe but plan on getting a tire thats a little better in the mud in around 5,000.
Got the BFG's at Discount Tire. They will honor the pro-rated warranty for the next purchase, regardless of brand. As for pressure, I generally run 60-65 front and 50-55 rear, raising the rears when towing. Those pressures seem to give a comfortable ride but still make the sidewall stand up pretty well. The tires are rated at 65 max. The fella at DT said that most of these tires last well past 50K - guess I just got the "lucky" ones...
I ran the original BFG's Rugged trails for 56,000 miles. Lots of gravel roads and fair amount of towing heavy on gravel and pavement. Was very pleased, most I had gotten out of any tire in my life before was 42,000 under same conditions.
So...I replaced the BFG's last month with the exact same ones. $169.00 each here, but they fix flats and rotate for life of tire at no extra charge, locally owned tire dealership.
