Just take this procedure into any dodge dealer and they'll do it. I had mine done for the 35" tires recently. One dealer said they'd try but had never done it, the next one I called said they do them every week, no problem, $25. I rolled in without an appt, it took them all of 3 minutes.

Here you go - compliments of Dan K on the other thread. The speedo change is under the A.B.S. menu, submenu other options, Pinion Factor, Change Revs Per Mile

They all wanted to charge me a 1 hour service charge to try. This is going to cost anywhere from 80 to 120 bucks, but since all dealers said it could not be done, I gave up! I was willing to pay too. Dodge dealers suck but where else can we get our trucks from?
Two of the three dealers in my area told me it could not be done. The third did it in a few minutes and charged me $80. Were the first two service managers incompetent or just liars? I'd guess the latter.

I had it done at CarMax Dodge in Inglewood.. Talk to Lindsey in Service.. He is about the only one there that Knows anthing about these trucks.. He was out there with the Mechanic working on my "05 Knock" to make sure he did it right..

1 Block South of Manchester on La Cienega.. 405 South off at manchester Blvd (right before LAX) this puts you off on La Cienega.. Keep going straight 3rd light Turn Right and an Imediate left Service is on the right side of the street.

I am having a problem with the local dealers here in NOVA as well.... all the dealers I called said it couldn't be done for "non-stock sized" tires, and then wanted to charge me $85-$100 to "try".

I think I'll just stop by the dealer I bought the truck from in PA

Greenz, I would guess that he's incompetent rather than a liar, because even a stupid dealer knows it's good to rip off a customer charging $80 for 5 mins of labor! They can be good at that

4x4not, I just posted the procedure above - if you show your dealer how easy it is, tell them "hey I just need 5 mins of labor", they wont as easily justify charging you more than a half hour labor. Good luck guys!
