If they can't be cut, go down to NAPA/Autozone/whatever and get quality stock replacements

Just curious, how many miles on the rotors? (06)

I used NAPA (chinese) on my last truck (2000 3500) with warner extreme duty pads. 95,000 miles before the right caliper started to stick. Still had 1/4" pad on left side and 1/8" on right inside. Changed calipers and pads.

Yikes, only 52K. Are you the original owner, tow alot?

Pull em off and have them turned...slap your new pads on and your back in business!

If you're can't be turned($20 per rotor), I'd check on ebay. I just bought a set of 4 rotors and 2 sets of pads all for $510 to my door. Super cheap compared to the $470 I spent only on rears last year. The guys I bought from were out of Quebec, Canada. Good luck. Remember to check your sliders and boots...grease and replace as necessary.

Thanks guys I did check into the deals on e-bay. I just did know how good they were, I am the only owner and I tow my 5k boat and a trailer with 4 wheelers to Mo. turkey huning from Pa. But I have never had a real load I guess. I might have them turned and see how that works out, again thanks for the info..

if you're looking for aftermarket, try SSBC. they won't be cheap (approx. $150 a piece) but they're drilled and slotted. not sure about multiple piston calipers for the 3rd gens, but they don't make any for my '90. only rotors and pads are available for 1st gens.

Drilled and slotted rotors didn't work out for me on my '98.5. 9% of the clamping surface was removed by the machining. I went back to NAPA premium(not Chinese at the time) stockers and regained my already shaky stock braking performance. I think just the slotted might be a good compromise. I researched the cryo- treated rotors also. Very spendy, but they might be the last rotors you have to buy for awhile.

Good luck, I would look into why they need to be replaced so early...or maybe change your driving habits a bit!

I will look into what you all have posted. And my driving habits are very easy, if I want to go fast I get on my r1. While rotating the tires I was checkin the pads and rotors, I discovered both rear have groves on the inside.
I appeciate all the input. thank you for the help...
