Thinking about purchasing an 04 2500 quad cab s/b 4x4 with 54k on the ticker its got a 4in exhaust he says it hasnt a programmer on it very clean truck, auto trans anything i should look for

 

54K on an 04 sounds great! Miss mine sometimes....not the s/b though. HAHA.

If its an 04, the exhaust has been changed out. If its an 04.5 it would have come with 4" from the factory.

Id look into why the truck only has 54k miles on it. Most people who spend the money for a diesel use them to justify the cost. That low of miles may mean the truck has been down for repairs. If all is ok there just the normal stuff. Look at the front end closley, ball joints, tie rods, ujoints. And see if its been towed hard. Look at other threads, there have been countless ones on what to look for.
