I stand on a milk crate to work on these trucks most the time.

 

Things that need adjustment wear the most when they're new. While you may be able to drive without a band adj. for a long time...it doesn't mean that things won't improve with a tweak. If your drop your pan, it's worth a check, if for any other reason......just to get to tinker with something
