Thoroughbred Diesel anybody have good dealings with this company?

I posted awhile back on buying Injectors I recieved a few comments about DDP and F1 injectors. What about these injectors they are 60 hp Nozzle injector called Dragonfly from Thoroughbred Diesel ? Or should I go with Dynomite Diesel Injectors with 50hp Nozzles? There is about $125 dollar diff. any little bit saved is good but also quality means a whole lot.
What do yall think ? I am fixing to pull the TRIGGER on some like this week.

Thanks Sittingbull

I purchased my clutch through them a while back and things went OK. My credit card hasn't purchased anything without my knowledge, so I guess that part went OK as well. I have heard some negative things about their service if things don't go well, so it is kind of 50/50 on them and probably wouldn't use them again unless it was a screaming deal.

Talk to Lary ^^^. It is almost impossible to list everything he sells on the site, but he sells lots of things that aren't always listed.Give him a call and he can probably get you what you need.

That is why the only injector I will buy either comes in a Bosch box or a Cummins box. Been burned too many times.

Sittingbull2,

The F1 site has been down for a while;however, you must get the injectors through one of Don M's distributors. I believe the following list is up to date.

Thoroughbreed is a big player in aftermarket stuff around my area. Real big in Kentucky. Never bought anything from them so I cant vouch for them.

Dr. Dizzle,

Most every one is only selling the nozzle's I was just wondering if maybe I should go with the nozzle and not the whole injector. How hard is it to take the old nozzle off and just put new nozzle's on because the nozzle's are cheaper than the whole Injector ?

Oh BTW thanks for the list of suppliers

If you have a significant amount of mileage on your injectors, I would have them bench tested or serviced if you will. Don at F1 can provide that service and make any repairs necessary as well as install the nozzles of your choice. I don't recall in the other thread if you were experiencing any starting issues or other injector related problems;however, if they are original, get them checked out. I understand it's tempting to throw bigger nozzles on, but it's imperative that the injectors function properly.

Just buying nozzles is a waste of your time. Pop off pressures need to be adjusted and reset.

yea I am having starting problems. I have changed fuel filter put new lift pump on Airdog 100 but it is still hard starting runs rough then dies I have to keep throttle on it for awhile then it will stay running. It smokes a little more than it used to has a hesitation in it has a loud injector rattle that is why I am leaning more towards whole injector.
