Im looking at a new 06 4x4 four door with the 6 spd. Being a second gen guy, I havent paid much attention to the newer trucks. Are there any common issues with these trucks yet? How is the new 6spd? All input is appreciated

I have an 06 that just turned 14k miles...and not 1 problem to date. I did have to have the long crank times tsb done but it cured the problem. It is one heckuva pulling machine with the G-56.

 

Try to get the leather...because IMO the cloth is a mistake...stains very very easy.

 

I love the G56 very smooth shifts for me.
but it is a little low geared, I just put 315's on and it made for a nice RPM drop on the freeway Perfect IMO

I am noticing that the CP3's injection pumps seem to be leaking more then I would like to see. Mine goes in for a leak this next week and it only has 7,000 miles on it
I am sure there is more but that's all I got right now



*EDIT* I also had the hard start but have not had it since the last flash back in OCT 06

Good choice, I've heard that the ST cloth is better than the SLT cloth.

 

I've had my truck since September and I now have 15300 miles on it. I haven't had a single problem with it. I love it and I would recommend a Dodge to anyone and everyone I talk to.
