Surge At Full stop

Hi i am having a recently new problem with my truck. On occasion whe i get off the highway or even when in traffic and come to a full stop the whole truck will surge forward rithmicly. almost like the tc isnt disengaging or somthing like that. Anyway i am concerned and want to know if this is a precurser to a larger failure. Also with the edge can i leave it installed when i take my truck into the dealer or should i pull it out?

More than likely it is the transmission governor pressure solenoid or transducer. They aren't reading all the way to 0 and stays in 2nd. Then when they do it downshifts to 1st gear. Very common problem. That's the first thing I would check at least. Well......any codes? That's the easiest.

No codes yet. I would assume that this is a dealer fix?

Fill out your sig in the User CP and it will let us know what you drive. I was assuming it was an auto. If its under warranty yes. If your out of warranty you can do it yourself in an hour or so. Probably about 150 bucks or so for the parts and a new filter and pan gasket. You'll need fluid too! Have several rags around. Did some today in about 45 minutes with a hoist and air tools!

I would unless you know for a fact that the dealer is mod friendly! Good luck.
