Superchips FireFly - Anyone tried it??

Has anyone tried the Superchips FireFly module and gauge? If yes, what was your experience so far. I have a stock 04.5 automatic and want to mainly use it for towing and the gauges but want to get opinions before I install it.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have no experience with the Superchips Firefly, However I would suggest putting the money towards some gauges first. I bought gauges for my 04.5 from http://www.dieselmanor.com. I bought Isspro Boost, Tranny temp., Pyrometer, and fuel press. gauges and have been happy with them so far. They seem to have the best prices (compared to Autometer). I bought the tranny temp gauge to monitor my 48re( I suggest you do the same) and the fuel pressure gauge to monitor my lift pump press. Another great investment considering that my stock lift pump was only capable of 6psi(not good) So that led me to my next upgrade, a Walbro GDP392 from the DTR store. Then I would say its safe to think about a MILD programmer considering you stock Tranny. Just my $.02
