Strange noise

When shifitng gears while throttling up a strange noise is heard between gears. It is coming from under the hood around the turbo area. Is it the turbo spooling up or another problem? Happens mostly when I am putting the go pedal down like onto a freeway ramp or pulling my trailer. When I back off the RPMs it will go away. I have a programer installed {Edge W/Attitude} haven't tried to get the noise to come back in stock mode. Any input would be appreciated, thanks...

Possible boost leak. Check your hoses and make sure none of them are torn. You will only hear a boost leak upon acceleration.....which you have described.

Went out to check the clamps and hoses on the turbo and there were no holes in the hoses and retightened the already tight clamps. To my suprise the noise went away. Man those clamps were tight but the are really tight now. I am going to switch the stock worm gear clamps over to "T" bolt clamps which will hold better. Thanks for the tip....
