strait bio diesel in a 3rd gen

has anyone run strait bio diesel in a 3rd gen truck? I know the manual says a 20% mix is all that can be used but whats the down side of pure bio in a 3rd gen motor? if the bio diesel is properly formulated and filtered what could it hurt?

You will get beaten up pretty bad on starting a new thread on this topic, this has been discussed dozens of times, use the search function/there are plenty of people who are running straight bio.

It can be done if you use quality made Bio. But if you go in for warranty work then don't go in with more then 5% Bio in your tank or they could give you a bad time and try to use the Bio as the reason your having problems.
