Storage over the winter
Storage over the winter
I will be storing my truck for five months this winter. Any tips in doing so? Batteries, disconnect or trickle charge? Fuel treatment? First startup after storage? Etc. Thanks.
Here's a few suggestions:
Top off the tank and double treat (less chance of condensation)
Jack up the truck and block it so the tires don't touch the ground (less chance of flat spots) If that's not an option max out the air in the tires
Disconnect the batteries (put the batteries some place warm if possible)
Make sure the antifreeze checks out.
