My truck is not gray...it's black. But I had the OEM factory wheels sandblasted and powdercoated black. Maybe this may help you get an idea of what it would look like. Pics of the truck are in my gallery with and without the chrome center caps. Hope that helps.

By the way.....These are on the Forged Aluminum wheels. I am not sure if the chrome wheels are different or not. If they are, I would suggest you get a set of take offs off of EBAY or something and have those sandblasted and powdercoated. Mine cost $80 to sandblast all 4, $100 total to powdercoat, and $48 to mount/balance etc.

My tires are BFG AT KO 285/70/17s. I have a 2'' hell bent steel leveling kit on the front.

http://www.hellbentsteel.com/dodge/dodge-lift-kit.html

It did help lift the front nicely, but remember I have a 400lb Ranch Hand bumper and Milemarker 12,000 winch that is probably bringing it back down a little.

I looked at getting some aftermarket rims too, but the backspacing is not the same as the OEM wheels. I prefer the wheels to stay under the wheel well and not stick out beyond the fender unnecessarily. My suggestion if you wanted to go with aftermarket wheels, is to get a set of Hummer 2 wheel take offs and have those sandblasted and powdercoated. I just really like our OEM wheels.

I looked at the H2 wheels, have seen them on our trucks, and can't decide if I REALLLLLLLLYYYYYY like them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like the wheels to have a little more offset than stock but I do not want them out tooo far either.

ANYONE HAVE A FRONT OR REAR VIEW OF A 2500 WITH H2 WHEELS??????

i think the h2 wheels have a little bit more backspacing, because w/ 35's most ppl w/ stock wheels get rubbing on the link arms. i havent seen any rubbing w/ h2 wheels and 35's

The chrome on the stock steelies is basically glued on. It can be removed, but it takes a lot of work. I had a set for awhile and the chrome had been cracking around the bead due to the 315s being too wide, but the glue was still TOUGH. I think you'd be happier with powder coated aluminums, either stock, H2, or aftermarket. I've always liked the look of the American Racing Teflon Mojave. they make them in the same size/backspacing as H2s I think.
