Drivin home in 40 mph wind and the dash just starts screaming. I thought the fan was seizing up so I turn it off and that made no difference. Slowed the truck down and it stopped. Sped back up and it started again. So my question is when the blend door breaks does outside air hit it somehow? My heater has been weak lately.

Yes it's a blend door, one (or more) of the four is broken. We had our replaced under warranty on our '06 around 36k miles but they're broke. Again.
Look at the Heater Treater replacements, you're supposed to be able to replace them without removing the dash.
Letting the dealer do it will run you about $1400 bucks.

Does yours have the updated hose between the power steering pump and brake booster?
I had an 03 that had a kazoo like buzz (my words too) only at 2000 rpm. Went in under warranty and they checked hvac and padded a bunch of stuff- didn't fix it.
I mentioned the TSB about installing the new version of that hose to cure complaints of buzz in the column or pedals, and that fixed it.
The older style hose is plain, and the updated part has a metal restriction and a large metal weight mid-span.
