I now have the High-idle enabled, but I can only set her to 1000-1100 or whatever it is, I have nothing above that RPM range as an option?
On first start up I have to wait for 3-4 minutes before my engine will run above 1100 RPM's. I've been told it does this to allow the oil time to warm up so as to not damage the engine. Anyway once its warmed up some I can set my high idle up to 1500 RPM's.

All of the rough idle I have witnessed has been in warm weather on warm start-ups and it was always a hard vibration or sounded like a miss.

It was that cold here this am... and was 5*F last week... smooth as ever..

with the CC fast idle you have to press accell to get it to go above 1100.

The limit is 1600 rpms on a 5.9 based on temp... here is a link to the TSB with the time/temp chart.. you will hear a chime when you have gone past the time and can rev above 1600.

Heres a good video with the 3 cyl high idle. You can hear when it goes to 3 cyl.

Well I got a reply from "MADS" on if the Smarty can enable the 3 cylinder shuffle on a 3rd Gen. trucks or only for the 2nd Gen VP trucks and here is what the reply said and I quote the whole Email:

"Yes, the 3 cyl. high idle is available only for VP trucks. It is automatically in abled when the temperature goes very low.
Stefano Negrini - MADS"

So as we can all read per Stefano the 3 cylinder shuffle can only work on 2nd Gen VP Trucks and not on a 3rd Gen Truck.

It sounds to me like it has an exhaust break turned on. Now compare the sound to this 2001 from Ram6speed and you will hear a difference between the two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ5-F...eature=related
