Slight squealing noise when turning at low speeds..ideas?

Hey guys. When I'm turning in my driveway or at slow speeds I tend to hear a slight squealing noise. It goes away when I straighten out the wheel. It also seems like I'm getting some wobbly type feedback in my steering wheel on these slow speed turns, very similar feeling to what you get when doing slow speed turns on dry concrete in 4wd..how the wheel shakes a bit... Any ideas much appreciated guys!

I would look for either a slipping belt or low power steering fluid.

You have a bad u-joint on your front axle. I just had the left one replaced on my truck and it did the exact same thing.

Don't get a new(reman) pump from Oreily's Auto Parts... I'm on my 5th pump at 112k and the last 4 have all gone within the last 6k. Factory one started leaking so I bought the Oreily's lifetime warranty pump for $54 tax and all. After replacing that pump 3 more times because it just quit pumpin to the gear box, I went to Dodge. now for $112 I got the pump, the resivior, and the pully already assembled for me. Amazing it hasn't gone out yet since the parts house tried to tell me something else was wrong with my truck.

2003QCDodge: My pump has been leaking for about 8000 miles. Its used about 1/4 quart in that time. Was your original leaking worse? Just trying to decide if I should change it or wait. I dont like the leak but since its not bad----

While some may guess (and thanks for the input), Lupo was correct, both front ujoints needed replacing. Noise and shake gone! Oh ya, $600 gone too
